(More customer reviews)OK, this is a nice chair, both in style and comfort. I was surprised, however, by how low it is to the ground. Your bottom hangs about 8" from the soil in this well-reclined chair. You will not be able to sit up straight, but must lean back at quite a tilt. That said, I find the chair very comfortable for reclining and getting some sun. The back slats are suspended like those on a rope bridge and conform to one's contours nicely. Some assembly required to add the blocks of wood that keep you from chopping off your fingers when you try to climb out of it. These are not in the picture, but I felt they didn't adversly affect the chair's appearence to any great degree.

I will have to buy some longer screws to install on my chairs. Faulkner should replace the screws with longer ones or include some longer screws.

(More customer reviews)The only thing I think that differentiates this chair from it's many knock offs is the vibrant color. It's more of a bright acid spring green than muted kiwi green, but I like that. It has a slightly more upscale look than the knock offs I've seen. The tabs that supposedly hold the chair in position don't really work that well, and if you apply any weight whatsoever to the chair they just release.

Jack Post CG-12Z Country Garden Double Glider with Trays, Bronze Review

(More customer reviews)I was surprised to receive my glider just 4 days after placing my order. I was concerned when I saw the condition of the carton and took pictures of it before opening it to verify its condition in case parts were missing or broken. It had been taped closed in multiple places and a couple of the metal pieces were sticking out, one on each end of the box, where they had broken through the packaging. This obviously was due to both very poor packaging and rough handling of the box, as it was evident that it had not been actually opened prior to delivery.
The glider was easy to put together and the pieces fit well. Although I haven't had much of a chance to actually use it yet, I am very pleased with the quality of the product. The instructions for care said to apply a coat of oil based finish/stain to protect the wood. I presumed that it would come with this done and would need to apply another coat as needed in time, but the wood does not appear to have had anything applied to it prior to shipment.
I did not give the product 5 stars only because of the condition of the packaging. This problem needs to be addressed and corrected by both Amazon and the manufacturing company. Otherwise the next customer ordering this glider may not be as lucky as I was, that nothing was missing or broken.

I re-ordered the multi-positioned with the intent of sending the single position chair back. Instead, the company has , without my request , sent me two more on the single position chair. My lvg. room is filled up with their boxes. Now I need to send back three chairs. I am distressed that they have sent me items I did not order. Not only did this order get messed up, by I received notice today , Aug. 23, of an order for another pad and I had red'd the one I ordered and I rec'd notice of two other items that were being shipped after I had already rec'd the items. I was able to cancel two of the other wrong orders, but I find it very hard to straighten out this incorrect chair order because the site says no cancellations, the order is being shipped. That will be the fourth time I will receive the wrong chair. Please help.

(More customer reviews)I priced wooden outdoor chairs at a local store and was stunned by the high price. This chair is a good compromise between quality and cost. It could be stained better. The finish could be smoother with another sanding or two. It is a bit challenging to figure out how to fold/expand and if you're not careful, your hand could get caught in the process. All that said, it folds, it reclines, it looks pretty good, and it feels fairly sturdy. And at one-third the cost of high-end chairs, it is a good deal and I am happy with the purchase.

That aside, it has nice space for misc. items and food but the glass holder isn't very deep, it's 1 & 1/2" deep by 2 & 5/8" diameter wide. So it's good for tumblers but a little unstable for wine glasses and who knows what cups will fit in it.
