(More customer reviews)This is a very nice design. The seating surface is somewhat higher and the back more upright than on your typical Adirondack chair. In my eyes, this makes the chair more ergonomic, i.e. easier to get in and out of. The chair looks great on our front porch, and I love relaxing in it. Assembly of the four large parts with the included hex key was easy and took 10-15 minutes. My only reservation is that the fit and finish could be improved. Notably, the back didn't quite line up with the armrest attachment points, and one hole for attachment of the backrest to the seating surface was not pre-drilled. The shipping box is double-walled and very sturdy, but the four large pieces could have used some padding between them. Upon opening, it looked to me like rubbing between the pieces caused some abrasion and a few splinters. With that said, these small flaws were easily remedied with a drill and some sand paper. At eighty dollars for a nicely designed solid wood chair, I would consider buying another one.

(More customer reviews)I priced wooden outdoor chairs at a local store and was stunned by the high price. This chair is a good compromise between quality and cost. It could be stained better. The finish could be smoother with another sanding or two. It is a bit challenging to figure out how to fold/expand and if you're not careful, your hand could get caught in the process. All that said, it folds, it reclines, it looks pretty good, and it feels fairly sturdy. And at one-third the cost of high-end chairs, it is a good deal and I am happy with the purchase.

(More customer reviews)We found these chairs very comfortable and well made. They are light enough to carry to the park for a concert and we needed ones that folded flat for storage. Since we live in Hawaii, we had them shipped to a relative in California(for free shipping) then we had to pay for shipping from there to us here. The box arrived at their home torn at two corners with the chairs exposed, but not damaged. She reinforced the cardboard and it arrived here pretty beat up but no damage to the chairs. I think the manufacturer should have put more packing in the box to keep them safe. It was worth the additional shipping cost to get these chairs here-they are SO comfortable!

Lafuma RSX Polycotton Padded Camp Chair Review

(More customer reviews)I made the mistake of unpacking my new Lafuma recliner in the kitchen after a long day at work- in 3 minutes I was asleep! THIS is the comfort that I've been looking for in a recliner! I tried several other brands and they all had to be returned- they weren't comfortable at all. This recliner raises your legs very high, level with your torso. You can feel your legs relax instantly. There are no pressure points or places where you feel the metal parts of the chair. It is just a great design, period. I can see why people would buy this for the deck and decide to use it in the living room instead- it is that comfortable.
I got the padded model made from what feels like a cotton material. I don't know if it will last as long as a nylon mesh, but it is VERY comfortable and certainly a softer feel than nylon would be. The padding is thicker than I expected and very nice. The pillow also is thicker than I expected and is fully adjustable up or down to hit your neck just right. I plan to keep it out of the sun- it deserves a little more TLC than a simple lawn chair.
I got this recliner on sale, but it was still more than I wanted to pay. But it is such a superior product in design and quality, I plan on buying a second chair. Even if the other reviewers are correct, and I have to replace the shock cord, it is well worth it to get a chair that I can actually fall asleep in! Incredible!

Extra Wider Beige Zero Gravity Chair Review

(More customer reviews)I just received this. It arrived very fast. It appears to be sturdily made. The one page of instructions in the box has to do with a locking mechanism; I'm not able to make much sense out of what was written, and it doesn't make it clear that there are two locking mechanisms, one beneath each arm.
But the problem is that a zero gravity chair is supposed to raise your legs to the same level as your heart, removing all stress from your spine, and this does NOT. Go to Google Images and search "zero gravity chair" and you will see the incline these are supposed to reach. This chair does not recline far enough to accomplish that. I still feel some weight on my tailbone (precisely what I'm trying to avoid) and the incline feels no different than my La-Z-Boy in its full recline position -- minus the padding.
It's comfortable and seems to be well made, so buy it if you want a luxurious lawnchair-type recliner.
EDIT: Since this was not exactly what I thought I was buying, the seller agreed to refund the cost AND pay the shipping costs to return the chair. Styled Shopping... a good seller, I would do business with them again. I want to emphasize that if I needed a really nice, comfortable outdoor recliner, I'd be very pleased with this item.
