I will have to buy some longer screws to install on my chairs. Faulkner should replace the screws with longer ones or include some longer screws.

(More customer reviews)The only thing I think that differentiates this chair from it's many knock offs is the vibrant color. It's more of a bright acid spring green than muted kiwi green, but I like that. It has a slightly more upscale look than the knock offs I've seen. The tabs that supposedly hold the chair in position don't really work that well, and if you apply any weight whatsoever to the chair they just release.

It ended up being about 2 feet too short so we used it on a regular beach chair. It was okay...just not as useful as I'd intended when I "splurged" on it. Lesson learned.

(More customer reviews)I ordered a chair with a multi-positioned back that went from nearly upright to flat. The company has sent me a chair that has one position. I re-ordered the multi-positioned with the intent of sending the single position chair back. Instead, the company has , without my request , sent me two more on the single position chair. My lvg. room is filled up with their boxes. Now I need to send back three chairs. I am distressed that they have sent me items I did not order. Not only did this order get messed up, by I received notice today , Aug. 23, of an order for another pad and I had red'd the one I ordered and I rec'd notice of two other items that were being shipped after I had already rec'd the items. I was able to cancel two of the other wrong orders, but I find it very hard to straighten out this incorrect chair order because the site says no cancellations, the order is being shipped. That will be the fourth time I will receive the wrong chair. Please help.

iJoy 250 Human Touch Massage Chair BLACK FR Review

(More customer reviews)I bought a brand new iJoy 250 less than two years ago and one of the seat springs broke right after the one-year warranty expired. It was still usable, but less comfortable so I had to use extra cushions with mixed success. Now I know what you are thinking, but I only weigh 160 lbs! Recently, (still less than two years old) two more springs broke; the massage function works fine and the chair still looks new but but there is no way to sit in the chair anymore, rendering it both unusable, and evidently, unfixable! As it was out of warranty, I called Human Touch (iJoy is their less-expensive line) to see how to replace these springs and their support rep said that there was no way to get any replacement parts and since the chair is out of warranty, the only thing I could to do is throw the chair away and get a new one! Like I would ever buy anything again from a company that doesn't support their products after the sale. I even took the broken springs (not stretched--broken!) to a welder and he said it was made of something called 'potmetal' which can't be welded. Evidently their higher-quality Human Touch line of massage recliners has a better warranty, but I would recommend looking for a different manufacturer entirely. As a bonus, I have to dispose of a big heavy piece of cr@p massage recliner with my bad back or get someone to do it for me. Talk about regrets! My recommendation is to avoid iJoy massage recliners or anything else made by Human Touch like the plague.

(More customer reviews)I've had one of these chairs for a few years... It's very comfortable, HOWEVER, I have had multiple problems with the electric switch not working... have had to replace it a few times (3) but now the company is no longer selling replacement parts.
Would be a great chair if I could fix it ... but as it is now... It's completely unusable - once the switch dies (as it has done many times), you can't move the chair position at all... i actually have to throw this chair in the trash (literally).
My husband was going to try to get some parts aftermarket (basically find some other replacement electronic parts) but the Human Touch companies customer service is HORRIBLE and wouldn't let him know voltage the motor runs at... When you ask about replacement parts, they just say "Sorry ... We don't sell those replacement parts any more".

Replacement lacing for recliner Review

(More customer reviews)The laces are too short (by feet, not inches) and the tabbie things on the end are too fat for the Lafuma recliner. As a result, you can't double-lace the places that were doubled-up originally (both because there's not enough length of lace and because the tabs on the ends of the laces won't fit through the grommets a second time when there's already a section of lace in 'em).
Oh, you can struggle for an hour or two to make it sort of work as I did, but you'll end up with an uncomfortable recliner that is stretched too tight and yet sags in places--think of it like a face lift gone wrong and you'll have something of the idea. So don't cheap out like I did...
And don't tell me I was lacing it incorrectly! I had a second Lafuma lounger on hand from which to copy the lacing pattern, and it just couldn't be done. When the laces on this other recliner wear out, I won't buy these replacements for it, that's for certain!
To be fair, these laces might well fit a Faulkner knock-off chair just fine. But they don't fit a Lafuma, in contradition to what the ad copy says above.

Lafuma RSX XL Bayline Camp Chair Review

UNTIL a pivot bolt self locking nut backs off and the sholder bolt seperates allowing the chair to come apart causing the frame to bend when you wind up on the floor. This is the bolt that you raise and lower yourself from reclined to sitting positions.
BTW this happenerd today 7/25 and the chair was ordered on 5/31
The threaded part of the bolt is not lonf enough for the self locking nut to do its job.
Today is Sept. 4th 2005 an update on my Lafuma experience.
Called two days ago to the Lafuma people asking where my repair parts are, boy did they play dumb. Said I never called about broken chair parts.
DO NOT buy this chair based on thier lousy customer service.
BTW they said this is a known problem with thire chairs, why then don't they correcxt it.
