Ergo Lounger OH Therapeutic Face Down Lounger, Steel Review

Have trouble with your knees exiting lounge chairs? This is the chair for you. We have bad knees and back,so this chair fits the bill. We are in the Air Force and stationed in Puerto Rico. These chairs have had serious use by us, and all our visitors. They have held up well for the past three years. We could have sold several chairs to the beach goers. Everytime we set our chairs up, we are beseiged by others wanting to know where to purchase. Especially like the ease of carrying from the condo to the beach.

Ostrich MP2a 2009 Beach Chaise Review

Ostrich MP2a 2009 Beach Chaise
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Got this chaise mid summer and it really does work quite well for comfortable face-down reading just like the photos imply. Sometimes the cover for the face hole pops off its velcro tabs when stretched tight but this has been only a minor issue.
The major issue here is that the chaise is on the short side -- if you're much taller than 5'8" you'll need to drape your legs over the edge -- and because the edge is fully ringed by the frame, this eventually becomes uncomfortable. The easy fix is to put a towel under your legs but it's too bad they didn't make this chaise just a few inches longer.
It's reasonably lightweight and the carrying strap works well for long-ish walks to the beach. Sits fairly high off the sand and it needs to, in order to allow for the face-down reading position. Getting your arms into the holes is pretty easy and the holes are positioned well for comfort.
Overall a superb product for someone of shorter stature, a bit less so for taller people.

X-lite Recliner Review

X-lite Recliner
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The chair was shipped rapidly. However, I am 5'11' tall and I just don't fit in this chair. The bottom metal frame hits my ankles and my head is above the headrest. It also seems flimsy, but I only sat in it once so I don't know how long it would hold up. If you're small and not too heavy, however, this could be a nice chair.

Cup Holder with Tray for Lafuma Recliners - Dark Grey Color Review

Cup Holder with Tray for Lafuma Recliners - Dark Grey Color
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
It's a major fault that it is necessary to purchase this holder, that it isn't incorporated as an integral part of the recliners. That aside, it has nice space for misc. items and food but the glass holder isn't very deep, it's 1 & 1/2" deep by 2 & 5/8" diameter wide. So it's good for tumblers but a little unstable for wine glasses and who knows what cups will fit in it.

Nautica RED Nautica Light Weight 5 Position Aluminum Beach Chair with Neck Pillow Review

Nautica RED Nautica Light Weight 5 Position Aluminum Beach Chair with Neck Pillow
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is a typical beach chair. It is pretty roomy and comfortable to sit in but it is low to the ground. I didn't feel like it was going to tip or break with me in it. I just got 2 of these last week and have not been to a beach yet but I have tried out the chairs indoors so I cannot say what will happen on sand. They are easy to put up and take down and easy to carry. The magazine holder was a bit small but I guess it is okay if you roll the magaziner up and it will fit a book. The biggest thing I have to say about these is that they are way overpriced on Amazon. I got mine from Sam's for $29.95 each. Do not overpay for these. Find someone with a membership and go to Sam's if you can.

Picnic Time Beachcomber Portable Beach Mat Review

Picnic Time Beachcomber Portable Beach Mat
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I don't know why beach mats like this aren't all over the internet & every Walmart, etc. I finally found it on Amazon & ordered it. It came in just a few days & was well packaged. When I opened it, I found it was much better than expected. The easily adjustable frame is welded & very strong. The zipper pouch in back can flop over the top & hold a small pillow if you like. It carries well on my shoulder. It's really a quality product. The ONLY down side is trying to remember which way to fold it so that the frame is inside and the velcro straps are in the right place to hold it closed. That's MY problem though, not theirs

Outdoor Patio Ostrich 3 In 1 Blue Chaise Lounge Chair Review

Outdoor Patio Ostrich 3 In 1 Blue Chaise Lounge Chair
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I love the features of the chair, it's very lightweight, but honestly it's not as sturdy as it should be for the money.
The different positions are very hard to adjust, and after only using it 3 or 4 times, the piece is even a little bent. On one side you can adjust to the third position, on the other side it goes into position then slips out into the next one.
I think my chair may have been defective and intend to find out if I can return it for a replacement.

Ergo Lounger RS Therapeutic Face Down Lounger, Aluminum Review

Ergo Lounger RS Therapeutic Face Down Lounger, Aluminum
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Well first off...the chair arrives in a nice box....easy open...you need to assemble 2 screws and bolts together with a spacer....very simple..although i did it wrong the first time.....but once you READ the instructions...its simple. This attaches the back part of the chair to the rest of the unit. I guess it comes this way since once assembled, when you fold it over to carry it, it would be a bit too long to fit in the supplied box it came in. They could have made life simpler and sent it in a slightly bigger box and fully assembled..whatever.
Next....I am 5'10 and a half (dont forget that half now) and the chair is just a little too small in length for me to lay comfortably on the beach in any position on my back without my feet hanging off the metal bar at the end.... somewhat annoying and sometimes slightly painfull...but with some adjusting, you can get your feet on it with your legs a little bent.
Next.....the most comfortable position for me on this chair is laying face down on the "lounger" with my face in the cut out hole on the pillow pad that is velcroed on.....i need to take out the middle/stomach/back velcro pillow and put it under my ankles so me feet dont hang on the metal bar and cause pain...also it is uncomfortable when you lay on you belly with this middle pillow there...much better when your stomach is on the material using a towel of course since there is velcro there and it would hurt when it rubs against your bare skin. I think it is even ergonomically better or at least it feels that way for me.
Moving on...The chair can be used in the flat position which is great since this is rare when it comes to beach chairs...and a main reason why i bought it. The back part can be raised in the traditional manner like a regular lounge chair for your choice of angle.
Finnaly...it is really lightweight...really. Its maybe 12 pounds or so....and it folds up pretty easily and all the velcro pieces stick to the chair and havent fallen off while ive carried it to and from the beach a few times so far...seems as if the velcro is strong. The only thing is that the back part sticks out further than the rest of the chair when its folded...and is not folded in the traditional manner....what i mean is, a regular lounge/folding chair when folded, makes a shape like a square or a rectangle with all the pieces of the chair nicely tucked in and secure....this chair doesnt do that....it folds ok..but one piece sticks out further than the rest..a little wierd..but it does have some straps that secure the pieces together so it doesnt come apart when carrying it.
To sum up....a good chair if you like lying flat on your back and if you want to tan your back there is a a place for your face parts like your nose..so it dosent get crushed...it goes in the cut out hole in the chair.
I would suggest if you are taller than 5'10 and a half ..use one of the velcro pillows under your ankles so the metal bar dosent cut off your circulation and cause you to walk with a limp. Overall...a good buy for the money. Im happy with my purchase :)

Rio Gear Aluminum Frame Backpack Chair Review

Rio Gear Aluminum Frame Backpack Chair

I received this chair and was very happy with how light it is. The next day I went to walmart and found a chair that looked just like it and only slightly heavier for only $10.00. I feel a little ripped off, but it is a nice chair.

Depending on your tolerance for toting a heavy backpack uphill, picnics and hiking may or may not be an ideal combination. Those disinclined to lug chairs, blankets, dining ware, and coolers for comfortable dining, may find themselves instead seated on a damp log, wolfing down an energy bar. For hikers who want their fresh air with French bread, Welcom WearEver created their Deluxe Hi-Back BackPack Chair. Worn as a backpack when folded, it has ample room for a picnic blanket, small cooler, camera, soccer ball, and water bottles. Its durable, 25-millimeter, aluminum frame and 600-denier polyester fabric support up to 250 pounds of equipment. As if the versatility of a backpack chair weren't enough, Welcom WearEver has loaded this hiking essential with numerous amenities. The chair's hardwood arm rests are great for relaxing elbows while reading a book. A cup holder keeps soda cans safe from ants, passing-by dogs, or sand sprays. A removable headrest pillow adjusts for varying heights, plus offers four reclining positions. The backpack compartment provides 1800 cubic inches of storage space and hangs from the backrest of the chair--so users can store articles while seated. A zipper seals the compartment, preventing items from tumbling out while traveling. Two, adjustable arm straps accommodate different body sizes. The chair seat stands 10-1/2 inches off the ground. Folded, the chair measures 28 by 23-1/2 by 5 inches. This item weighs 11 pounds upon shipping.
