(More customer reviews)I have to admin this was a bit of an impulse buy to add to my toy collection. But after a bit of buyer-remorse at first, after two months, I'm glad I have this chair. I don't have back problems and I'm not a stressed out person, but it's just nice to sit in this thing after a workout.
First of all, the picture here is not quite right--it's either an older model or a cheaper model. As far as a piece of furniture, the chair looks a bit awkward with mixed in with my other matching black leather sofas and recliner. Not to say it's ugly, but it looks more like James Kirk's captains chair rather than something that belongs in the living room. The overall build quality is excellent.
I think the back rollers may be a bit harsh at first, but are very relaxing when you get used to them. People who try it out always seem to have a look of pain on their faces (and I always make my guests change into a pair of clean socks before sticking their grubby feet into the foot massager). The arm massage straps are pretty much useless in my opinion--it's too much work to put them on.
The biggest downside of this chair is that it is fitted more for people 6 feet and under. I'm 6'2" and can't quite get my legs straight into the footrest without bowing up my legs a little. This causes the hamstring massager to miss the mark a little.
Overall it's a great chair and after two months I still use it daily and see no sign of getting tired of it.
