We purchased this rocker for our daughter who is due to give birth in June so she hasn't had a chance to put it to a full test but it has already won the admiration of others. A friend stopped by her home and saw the chair. They commented on its beauty and comfort and asked the price. They we shocked and said they expected it to have cost twice as much. We especially liked the way the head rest is both soft enough and flexable enough to support the head while rocking. The chair wasn't immediately available when we ordered it but the supplier was very gratious and accomodating to make sure we got it as soon as possible. Great product and great supplier.... Thanks.

HT-140 Black Leather Massage Chair - Interactive Health Robotic Human Touch Robotic Recliner Review

(More customer reviews)I bought a Natuzzi chair five years ago with power recline and an Interactive Health "Human Touch" robotic massage unit built in. The chair was fanstastic and I used it daily. About six months ago I began shopping for a replacement. I tried an HT-135 chair and discovered the "stretching" feature. This is an incredible innovation where the chair grabs your calves (using the leg massage unit) and then reclines over the massage head while lowering your legs. If you have ever seen a drawing or horror movie where they are bending someone over a huge curved surface while streching them; i.e., "breaking on the rack", that is what it is like. I reached six feet tall when I was 15 years old and for years I joked that you could verify a pair of yardsticks with me. A few years ago during a physical I discovered that I had lost about a half inch. Well, that half inch is back and those poor compressed disks in my back are restored!
I bought the HT-140 instead of the HT-135 because it has a unique feature in that it has a small lever under the right arm rest that when activated causes the foot rest to articulate out about six inches or so. Essential for the tall person.
A friend of mine has an HT-1650 (about $4 grand) and it looks like a massage chair. The HT-140 looks more like a starship captain's chair, although with the dark leather and heavy oak accents it looks good in the living room. I paid $2K (exactly) delivered. Even though I did not get "white glove" treatment, the delivery guy helped me get it up into the house. The chair arrives folded in a huge box, but it is very easy to set up and use.
Cons: the cashew leather turned out darker than my wife thought it would be and, of course, the black leather is even darker. Would be nice to have a beige or cream option. The controller does not have a pause feature for some reason, that would have been a plus.

I needed this chair, I wanted this chair.
It was delivered perfectly in just a couple of days in perfect condition.
The leather while not a fine grade will do just fine and I'm sure will offer years of low maintenance use.
So what's the problem.
I'm a software engineer so after fumbling about a bit I invited my neighbor who can assemble *ANYTHING".
We got it 'somewhat' together although it doesn't appear that are mates to most of the Velcro tabs; the two major pieces don't really appear to be seated; and the headrest refuses to hold an adjustment.
The people at the BackStore gave me the number of the people at HumanTouch. After some hunting around they emailed me the instructions that we're pretty much what I received in the container. No luck.
I told the guy at HumanTouch that .. Hey ... all I want to do is get it working right and I'd be willing to pay for someone to come out and do the job right. He indicated that I'd probably wouldn't want to do that since the minimum charge was some $250.
I probably wouldn't have winced at $125 but this is ridiculous.
On small change stuff I have a long history of just swallowing the deal. Not this time. Tomorrow, I start running the traps to return this product that is either mis-manufactured or simply missing a 5 minute youTube assembly video.
This represents probably the only 2 star review I've ever written on in all my years with Amazon.
Tomorrow, I guess I start going through the world of hurt that will be involved in returning this almost 'Perfect Chair'. Too bad.

(More customer reviews)This chair is very comfortable and I am glad I got it. The mocha color is much darker than in the pic -- I'd call it more of a taupe/light brown. I got it to replace my office chair and it sure is an upgrade. Good lumbar support and good height for the pillow.
They said it would take 2 weeks to be delivered, but two days after I ordered it, the shipping company called to say they were delivering the next day. So three days after I ordered it online, an 18 wheeler pulled up to my house, and the shipping charges were free.
It was not hard to assemble, and all the parts are quality construction with welded steel and nice hardwood.
I was hesitant to buy such a chair online without sitting in it first, but I am very happy with it. If you don't need an office chair on wheels and you might like to recline and put your feet up while you work, go for the upgrade with this chair.

Sure everything is fine when you rock for the first few times, but wait a while and you will start to notice clicking noises and they will continue to get louder and louder and louder. Then the chair breaks and you cannot use it anymore. Trust me. This chair sucks. It is such a shame too because this chair is so comfortable. Anyway, don't waste your money on this piece of junk. The only good thing out of it is the rocking footrest. That seems to work just fine.

It's attractive, quiet, and has a host of programmable options. The stretch feature alone is worth the price of admission. It has lumbar heat, full-recline, various combinations of massage methods, and users are able to target specific muscle groups. If you just want the chair to take over, it has four pre-programs that cycle through and roll along your entire back and neck.
As the delivery crew said of it: "This right here's the Rolls Royce of massage chairs."
I believe it.

(More customer reviews)So I was worried buying a "fake" Eames from a company I had never heard of and at the time there were no reviews for the chair. I must say I am impressed. The chair looks great. I grew up in a home with an authentic Eames and this chair looks right and feels right. The quality of the build is definitely not as good as buying a Herman Miller but that is why this chair is less than a third of the price. The leather is very nice, the wood finish is wonderful the grain has a lot of definition and the fixtures are solid. It has one or two spots on the edge of the plywood that are not finished perfectly but you really have to inspect the chair to find them.
The delivery was very fast and the packaging was done very well.
Overall I am very pleased. It looks just like a real Herman Miller Eames Lounge unless you inspect it closely.
I will update my review if I find any problems as it ages.

Coaster Mission Style Rocking Wood and Leather Chair Rocker Review

(More customer reviews)Although this product was relatively easy to assemble, and the overall design is aesthetically pleasing and was received in good condition and rapid fashion; there remains the invariable fact that the design of this chair is flawed beyond repair.
Within 2 days of using the the chair it developed a rather noisy squeak. It is to be expected that a wood product will give off some noise due to variances in temperature and humidity etc, however on the third day, the arms separated from the back with a loud crack.
The arms are joined to the back via two dowel rods and glue. The one point in the design where all the downward and backward stresses of the sitter/rocker are focused, is held together by wood and glue... throughout the rest of the chair a series of brass alloy screws and lock nuts are used which is fine if not overkill. The one point where screws and lock-nuts would do the most good, they are lacking.
As there are two dowel rods which support the focal point of stress on such a small supporting beam, it is impossible to replace the dowels with screws as the pre-drilled holes have already compromised the integrity of the beam.
Nice looking? yes. Quality? no. Firewood? not unless you like clouds of toxic fumes from the lacquer.
