(More customer reviews)This is my second massage chair from this company. The first went to the great furniture pile in the sky after many years of service. I couldn't stand it more than a week without a massage chair and was delighted to find this one on Amazon. The price was better than what I found elsewhere and shipping was free. Can't beat that!
It's HEAVY which means that most people would not try to put it together or move it within their home on their own. I did both because I couldn't make myself wait for help, but I wouldn't advise that.
I like the choices of massage that are available in this chair. I'm able to personalize where I want the massage such as my lower back, shoulder area, neck as well as specifying what kind of massage I'm choosing. I strongly prefer the "kneading" setting which I don't find on all massage chairs. The percussion choice makes me a little queasy and in doing my original search, I found that some chairs offer only that and a not very useful vibrating sort of thing which isn't massage at all. There are three choices here, compression, percussion and kneading.
The only disappointment I find here is in the calf and foot massage portion of this chair. I don't like it nearly as much as I did my old chair. Except for the 2nd of the 3 settings there's a very odd pause that comes in quite annoyingly. The 2nd choice works quite well though and that's all I really need.
Overall I'd strongly encourage someone looking at a massage chair to consider this one. I've been very pleased with my previous experiences with the quality of this company's chair and the offer through Amazon was great.

Recliner Slipcover - Diamonds on Canvas - Ivory Review

(More customer reviews)This slipcover is much more yellowy than white or off-white. Its not a pretty color. And while its hard to see the diamonds in the photo, you can see them very well in the slipcover. Also not so great.
The good part is that it fit the old Lazyboy very well and was easy to put on.

Yes, i wish the cushion wasn't attached, but that's really no big deal! It fits perfect into my living room with a deep berry colored sofa and beige oversized chair that is accented with black tables. I love this! But hey, if I can help someone purchase it cheaper elsewhere for the exact same item..........why not?? Money is money, hope I can save some for ya! Great item, great price on Overstock!

(More customer reviews)I have slept in a push back recliner for the last 5 years after my third back surgery. Last fall I had a 2 level spine fusion surgery, since the surgery it has been hard to get up from the relining position in my old chair. We have tried many chairs at many stores until I found Catnapper Omni. I feels so good to lay in and seems to have been made just for me. I am only 5'3 so I was a bit concerned it would be to big. It is so comfortable and I know I will have many good nights sleeping in it. I love just pushing a button to lay down or get up. The company that makes the chair helped us find it in a store to try out, Jackson Furniture has been around since 1932 I think. The way they helped me and built this tchair they should be around many more years to come. Love my chair!!

It installs easily too; There are four pieces -- the arm pieces and the back piece have little elastic loops to fit over the chair's legs. If you have a extra large chair, or a chair without legs; this cover may not be ideal for you. For for my chair, it is perfect. And I am going to reorder a couple more so I can change the cover out on laundry day.

The first one came in a destroyed (and I mean destroyed) box missing all hardware inside. We never could get the company or amazon to send replacement screws. You would think the second would be different and the first was a fluke... Nope! Same problem. Low quality packaging and missing parts again. Stear clear and pay more for a quality product.

When I was moving I need a chair and I wanted one that would swivel and when I saw this I new it was what i wanted. It would have been nice in a different color but it really does the trick and doe various form of massage or you can select the type you want and even where you want it. The other nice thing is the foot massager will plug into it so you only need to use 1 wall socket and there is a main power off switch if you are going to be away. When people come to visit and they see it I think they kind of roll their eyes and then once they try it they are ready to get one themselves. Especially when they find out that it does not cost that much more then a regular recliner would.

I decided with how much time I'd be spending in it rocking my baby it was worth trying a higher end rocker and paying the difference. Definitely glad I made that decision because this rocker is SO comfortable! I ordered the sage green which looks great with the cherry wood--a beautiful rocker. The rocker reclines and locks in position making it easy to fall asleep in. Very sturdy, excellent quality, and well made (especially compared to the lower end model we put together). Putting this rocker together was a breeze. I also have the matching ottoman which glides just as nicely as this one. I definitely recommend this rocker to anyone looking for a long lasting, comfortable, beautiful chair.

Dutailier Ultramotion Bow Back Glider Rocker and Ottoman Combo, Light Beige Review

(More customer reviews)For my expectant wife, we purchased the Dutailier Ultramotion Harvest Sleigh Multiposition and Recliner and a matching ottoman about a month ago for a total cost of over $650. It is a great chair and made in Canada with thick cushions, adjustable reclining back, glide lock, and smooth gliding action, and my wife loved it. But it's not exactly cheap.
Since we are expecting twins, another chair for me seemed like a prudent idea, but I wasn't anxious to spend that amount again, so I ordered this cheaper model for myself (call me the Mama Bear for the purposes of this comparison). It was on sale for about a third of the price we had paid for my wife's chair. It is also a solid chair, but made in Viet Nam with thinner cushions and no back adjustment or glide lock, but with the same smooth gliding action, and I love it.
So what is the trade-off for the bargain price? A bit more work for assembly, mostly for attaching the arms. Thinner cushions. Made in southeast Asia instead of North America.
As for the size, my wife's chair is a generous 19" wide between the arms, but mine is only 16" wide. The seats in both chairs are an ample 20" deep. I'm 205# with a 41" waist and my chair fits me okay and it mostly fits my wife okay as well. On the other hand, Mama-in-law bear is a bit more generously cut than we are and can only get into my wife's larger chair.
I really enjoy the gliding action of these chairs with the synchronized gliding ottomans vs a standard rocking chair. And, I really enjoy the $400 still in my pocket that I didn't have to spend for the second chair.

The chair seems sturdy enough, although it says it has a 200lbs weight limit which is not apparent from the description here. I'm 6'4" and 220lbs but it seems to be fine.
The height adjustability is reasonable, although if you go for more sit on butt and less pressure on knees the whole thing lowers. This is kind of rough on a tall person.
Padding... here's the biggest hit against the chair; it's just too thin on padding. I can only bear about an hour of it before either my knees, my butt, or both are hurting or getting somewhat numb.
I paid about $120 for this including shipping -- I suppose that's a good enough price for what it is, but I am betting the designer of this chair didn't spend more than 10 minutes sitting in it.

That aside, it has nice space for misc. items and food but the glass holder isn't very deep, it's 1 & 1/2" deep by 2 & 5/8" diameter wide. So it's good for tumblers but a little unstable for wine glasses and who knows what cups will fit in it.

(More customer reviews)I really wanted a zero-gravity recliner, and while it's not in the title, the description aludes to this possibility. I decided to purchase it, mostly because it was durable and the price was good, and I gambled on the zero-gravity thing. Alas, it is not zero-gravity. But, it does recline quite a lot, and I love being outside in the sun with it. It doesn't replace a sunbed, but it is very close.
It is comfortable, light, easy to move around, the colour is great, and I really like to lie back and relax. The mesh makes it cool, and the small pillos fits perfectly.
