(More customer reviews)We ordered two of these recliners on May 14 and they arrived on May 27, well within the maximum estimated delivery date of June 7, which we were given. Both recliners' shipping boxes were damaged and the chairs could have easily fallen out of the bottom of the boxes and we feel that the factory (these were drop shipped from there) could redesign their boxes to be heavier duty, however both items arrived without damage. We examined the recliners and found them to be generally well made although there were some flaws in the staining of the wooden arms and we felt the upholstery fit was acceptable but not perfect, to be expected in a product within this price range. The reclining mechanisms operated smoothly and quietly. Overall, we are very satisfied with the purchase and feel that we received a good quality product in keeping with the price we paid. The chairs are very comfortable. Because you, the potential buyer, can't try out the chairs before ordering, there are a few things that we would like to call to your attention. This recliner has moderately firm cushioning; you do not sink down into feather-soft luxury. It is designed to be supportive more than cushy. If you're looking for a soft chair, this isn't it. Next, this is a rocker/recliner and the rocking continues whether the chair is reclined or not. Some chairs we tried at the store locked out the rocking motion when reclined. Again, if this is a problem, look elsewhere. Finally, these chairs are not designed for larger people. I am 5-feet-9-incles and feel that this chair fits my size but just barely. Probably individuals less than 6 feet tall and of average weight will find the fit to be fine. We have chosen to give this product the highest rating because, despite the few minor issues listed above, this recliner is a very good buy.
