(More customer reviews)We bought this for use in our nursery, with #1 due in June. I did a lot of research, and Baby Bargains (book) identifies Dutailier as the best in the glider business. So when I saw the price drop below $275 for the Sage version, I was fianlly persuaded to buy. We decided to go with a high quality glider (accdg to the reviews, anyway!) b/c we knew we would have it for several years and would get lots of use out of it. This was very easy to assemble. The velcro for the armrests is a bit finicky, but seems to be working Ok so far. The cushions are a velvety material, and the seat is very comfortable, no noise on the glider. The sage color is actually quite bright when you get it, more of a celedon...? Only other glitch is that my husband read that the paint on the chair contains lead, which was a bit surprising (and is why I was hesitent to give this 5 stars) and somewhat concerning. BUT, the chair certainly appears to be high quality, solid wood. I would not put more than ~250 punds in this chair though. So far, so good, after putting it together this weekend. (EASY ASSEMBLY!) Dutailier Ultramotion Espresso Sleigh Multiposition Glider Rocker Review

I looked everywhere for a glider that was both within my budget and really comfortable. I had fallen in love with another Dutailier model that was almost three times the price and ever since, have been wanting a glider that also reclines. This one fits the bill. It's comfortable, easy to assemble and reclines (and you can glide while reclining - not all models allow for that feature). It's not the most attractive chair, but most of the gliders are relatively ugly (IMO), though it's not the worst looking one I have seen either. You can definitely tell that it is on the low end of Dutailier's line: the cushions and fabric, while comfortable, feel somewhat cheap and get very hot (my back sweats if it's the least bit warm in the house), and the chair rocks more than it glides, which is not true of some of the more expensive models. Nevertheless, if you are not in the market for $1500 glider, this is a good choice.

Dutailier Ultramotion Modern Hoop Multiposition Glider Rocker Review

(More customer reviews)This is a great rocker. I got it to nurse my baby about a year ago and have been mostly pleased. It was easy to put together, has a tall back so I can rest my head and a wide seat for me and the little one. It glides very well and has yet to pinch my kids fingers and she climbs all over it. It does not come with the pictured foot stool - but I knew that before I purchased it. The part I don't like about it is the arm rests - they are attached with Velcro that is constantly coming undone - often loudly as I am trying to stand up with my sleeping bundle of joy in my arms. You'd think for this price they could snap them in place or something.

My baby is now 4 months old and we still use this chair regularly and both my husband and I find it extremely comfortable.

(More customer reviews)I did a lot of research to find the best chair. Prices online are much cheaper, but not testing the chair in person made me nervous. I am 5'8" and about 150lbs. This chair fits me perfectly. It is not narrow at all, but not too wide for using the arm rests while nursing. The best thing about this chair is the back height. I went to Babies R Us to sample all of the chairs, and found that the majority were too short. If the chair is too short, it won't support your head, so using the chair in the middle of the night would be extremely uncomfortable. This chair is the perfect height and even my 5'11" husband can rest his head comfortably. The suede material is soft and the cushions are comfy but supportive. Yes, this chair is more expensive than others and does not include an ottoman. We were on a budget and skipped the ottoman for now. So far for me, having the nicer chair is worth not having an ottoman. I would definitely recommend this chair over the basic/less expensive stork craft and shermag models! Another plus, it shipped the next day and then arrived one day later! Good luck!
