(More customer reviews)I was surprised to see a chair of that size come in the container it was delivered in, which at first gave me reservations. However, when it was taken out, I was relieved. Even though the instruction of putting the chair together was simple enough, lining up the chair to the base was a challenge. Overall, once the chair was completed, sitting in it was divine and comfy. The seat is wide enough to accommodate fuller hips, and comfortable enough for a tall person to enjoy. I find it was an excellent purchase for the money and I'm thinking about purchasing another.

(More customer reviews)It looks a lot better in the picture. I thought it would be very soft and comfortable. It is stuffed with a type of foam that leaves a dent for a while after you sit or put your feet on the stool. It does rock and swivel smooth enough, but the recline could be easier. Fairly easy to put together.
Edit!!!! I have had the chair for less than a year, and now the chair is BROKEN! I called ATHOMEMART to get a replacement and he said "I chose to do nothing". At Home Mart will NOT stand behind their products! DO NOT BUY FROM At Home Mart!!!!!!!

The only thing we were a little disappointed in was that the wood on the chair was not the deep color of wood that is displayed in the picute. The wood is much lighter...maybe it will darken over time. Over all we love the chair.

Modern Lounge Chair and Ottoman Set- Black Review

(More customer reviews)I like modern furniture, and own several pieces including an Eames table, so when I saw the discounted price on this item I leapt to buy it. This is advertised as a lounge chair, and the pics show a fair degree of lean, but the chair I received isn't like that. The top section of the chair is almost vertical. This is definitely a sit-up-straight chair and as such is good for reading, or, in my case, for laptop use. So it doesn't work with the ottoman. I'm using the ottoman with my sofa.
The chair I received has scuff marks on the bottom, like it had been assembled before (assembly involved attaching the swivel base to the chair), so maybe this had been returned by another customer. The inside of the plywood is rough in places and needs sanding. The trim on the ottoman is uneven. It arrived promptly, but the cardboard box had split, and the bases were sticking out of the box.
I still like the chair, comfortable, very ergonomic and it looks great, and is probably worth the discounted price. But if you have the money and want this "lounger", then pay more and buy elsewhere from another supplier, maybe you'll get a better quality product.

(More customer reviews)I cannot tell you how many of these things I have gone through. They are rigged to bust! Sure everything is fine when you rock for the first few times, but wait a while and you will start to notice clicking noises and they will continue to get louder and louder and louder. Then the chair breaks and you cannot use it anymore. Trust me. This chair sucks. It is such a shame too because this chair is so comfortable. Anyway, don't waste your money on this piece of junk. The only good thing out of it is the rocking footrest. That seems to work just fine.

(More customer reviews)So I was worried buying a "fake" Eames from a company I had never heard of and at the time there were no reviews for the chair. I must say I am impressed. The chair looks great. I grew up in a home with an authentic Eames and this chair looks right and feels right. The quality of the build is definitely not as good as buying a Herman Miller but that is why this chair is less than a third of the price. The leather is very nice, the wood finish is wonderful the grain has a lot of definition and the fixtures are solid. It has one or two spots on the edge of the plywood that are not finished perfectly but you really have to inspect the chair to find them.
The delivery was very fast and the packaging was done very well.
Overall I am very pleased. It looks just like a real Herman Miller Eames Lounge unless you inspect it closely.
I will update my review if I find any problems as it ages.
