(More customer reviews)This is designed for narrow arms on chairs and sofas. It refuses to stay put, despite the adjustable grips that are meant to squeeze the arm rest you put it on. I would never feel safe putting a drink on it or anything else (as the photo depicts) that could result in a messy spill. Also, each time I get up from the chair, the side piece that hangs down on the seat side of the arm catches on my leg and lifts the caddy and pushes it to the side. It is nothing more than a nuisance to me. I can't recommend this for anyone with furniture that has the wider, rounded, more thickly padded arms on their couch or chair. It's a seemingly great idea that needs a lot more innovative work to be a success. Very disappointing.
