(More customer reviews)Got this chaise mid summer and it really does work quite well for comfortable face-down reading just like the photos imply. Sometimes the cover for the face hole pops off its velcro tabs when stretched tight but this has been only a minor issue.
The major issue here is that the chaise is on the short side -- if you're much taller than 5'8" you'll need to drape your legs over the edge -- and because the edge is fully ringed by the frame, this eventually becomes uncomfortable. The easy fix is to put a towel under your legs but it's too bad they didn't make this chaise just a few inches longer.
It's reasonably lightweight and the carrying strap works well for long-ish walks to the beach. Sits fairly high off the sand and it needs to, in order to allow for the face-down reading position. Getting your arms into the holes is pretty easy and the holes are positioned well for comfort.
Overall a superb product for someone of shorter stature, a bit less so for taller people.
